FULL SHOW DESCRIPTION

A funny, cheeky, thoroughly disgusting but utterly scientific multimedia journey through the human body from head to bottom. The show explores what really happens to a mouthful of food after you've eaten it, and visits lots of weird human quirks along the way starting with edible bogies made from seaweed snot. As with Fartology, it’s very funny but not rude (we use CBBC editorial guidelines).

Demos include cooking food in vomit, cooking with saliva and an exploration of farts, faeces and urine. As with all Gastronaut shows, there are rockets and explosions, laughter and screaming. Stefan will bring along the world's weirdest snacks including edible insects and the world's fartiest food. We often include some elements of the Fartology show, where appropriate. It’s packed with biology but there's a surprising amount of physics and chemistry too.

LENGTH 20-60mins            PRESENTERS 1-4
EVENT SUITABILITY/AUDIENCE PROFILE Universal. Similarly to Fartology, this has been hugely successful at high-end science events and festivals and also at pure entertainment events and schools because of its high educational value.

NOTES

The show comes in various forms and sizes depending on venue and budget (obviously we’ve used photos from our bigger events here). For arenas and large auditoriums we have huge props, inflatables, mini-motorbikes and huge explosions. For smaller venues we have smaller kit, less devastating explosions and more tasting opportunities!

Gastronaut Live shows mix solid education with unforgettable entertainment, and the team is always happy to stay for photos, autographs, chat and book signings.
