Eat My Science large show image for squarespace 01.jpg

A new show for 2019, this takes Stef’s upcoming edible science book Science You Can Eat (Dorling Kindersley, June 2019) and transforms it into a wild stage adventure. It’s packed with edible science and very odd food such as real golden chocolate, Ribena spaghetti, the science of sweets and popping candy, edible acid-base reactions and food rockets. It also explores energy conversion from photosynthesis to metabolism using a thermal imaging camera

Lots of opportunities for audiences to taste strange food and get involved in demos on stage.

LENGTH: 30-60mins      PRESENTERS: 1-2
AUDIENCE PROFILE: Families – children from 5yrs+. The new book is aimed at 8-11yrs but everyone will really enjoy this. The show will premiere at Hay Literary Festival and then at both Kew Science Festivals and Cheltenham Science Festival.

The is how the show looks in your showguide

The show comes in various forms and sizes depending on venue and budget (obviously we’ve used photos from our bigger events here). For arenas and large auditoriums we have huge props, inflatables, mini-motorbikes and huge explosions. For smaller venues we have smaller kit, less devastating explosions and more tasting opportunities!

Gastronaut Live shows mix solid education with unforgettable entertainment, and the team is always happy to stay for photos, autographs, chat and book signings.
