150,000 tickets sold. Featured on BBC’s blue peter

Looking for an hilarious, unforgettable family show in Newcastle this
summer holiday? BBC Gastronaut Stefan Gates’ revolutionary, high-tech,
highly-explosive show is packed with outrageous science stunts.
Perfect for ages 5-14...and badly-behaved grown-ups.

It’s a riot of disgusting experiments, but under the bonnet it’s a brilliantly-constructed curriculum-driven adventure built to inspire Britain’s kids with science. Expect enormous bottoms, f*rt machines, snot cocktails, vast whoopee cushions and pee-powered fireworks. Stefan is an award-winning presenter of 20 BBC TV series and STEM author of 13 books.

  • Ages 5-14 (and adults will have a blast, too). Younger children are welcome, but bear in mind that there’s a lot of sensory stimulation. See below.

  • Yes - it’s curriculum-driven and hugely educational, making complex biology, physics and chemistry visual and entertaining. It also tackles body-shame and embarrassment about bodily functions. And yes, we do discuss fart acoustics, pee chemistry, snot biology and bum anatomy.

  • 1hr 45mins including a 20min interval

  • Loud bangs, whole-audience shouting, audience participation, latex balloons, stage fog, edible samples. The show is not suitable for those with latex allergies - apologies.

  • Without question. You WILL join in the screaming and laughter, sit with hands over your eyes and learn a vast amount about the science that nobody ever talks about.

  • Lots of neurodivergent children and adults come along to the show and love it, but bear in mind the show warnings above.
