WHAT It actually is
Rude Science Live is a riot of disgusting experiments, performed live on a stage in front of your kids. Enormous bottoms. Fart machines. Snot cocktails. Giant whoopee cushions. Pee-powered fireworks.
Under all the mess, it is a serious piece of work. It takes the biology, physics, and chemistry your kids meet at school, and makes it loud, visual, and impossible to forget. It even takes on the embarrassment kids feel about their own bodies, and turns it into something they laugh at instead of hide from.
Your kids think they are getting away with something gross. They are learning loads.
A SCREEN-FREE FAMILY DAY OUT
Get everyone off the sofa and out of the house for the afternoon. No tablets, no phones, just a proper day out that the whole family does together.
It’s 1 hour 45 minutes of the good kind of chaos, and one of the few things you can book that a 6-year-old and a teenager will both love. The kind of day they talk about for weeks afterwards.

How long is it? 1hr 45mins, with a 20-minute interval.
Is it actually educational? Yes, properly. It is curriculum-driven and makes real biology, physics, and chemistry visual and funny. And yes, that includes fart acoustics, pee chemistry, snot biology, and bum anatomy.
Show warnings. Loud bangs, whole-audience shouting, audience participation, latex balloons, stage fog, and edible samples. Not suitable for anyone with a latex allergy, with our apologies.
Recommended ages. 5 to 14, and adults have a blast too. Younger children are welcome, but note the sensory load above.
